Wonderful!

I feel great right now. I just showered, I had my last wellness class with Jen Wegmann who kicks ass and I love myself right now. Everything feels right even though it's not. 2 midterms and a very busy life but it's not bothering me.

Go on and love yourself
'Cause everything's gonna be alright

I wrote my Shakespeare paper last night in under 2 hours and duty wasn't so bad. I had some visitors and hopefully I made some people a little happier last night.

I'll be home by Saturday afternoon and I can't wait. I get to see my family, cool boys, go to Diane's bridal shower and eat yummy food. Thursday morning I'm going to Boston and it's going to kick ass, I can feel it. St Paddy's Day on Friday, going to see Yo Yo Ma on Saturday and lots of wonderful things in between with lots of cute boys ;-)

We're taking our floor picture tonight and it'll be fun. Sometimes I love my floor. Even though they can be jerks sometimes I still like them. And my resident and his girlfriend made cinnamon buns last night and brought me one while I was on duty. It was DE-LICIOUS!

Tomorrow night I might play basketball with some cool kids from last year. I want to play sports all the time. But there's never enough time. I'm going to be playing softball this spring and I can't wait. I might even be the pitcher. Yeah, they're desperate. And if we win the league championship we get free t-shirts so I'm obviously going to give it my all x infinity! I <3 free tshirts.

I need the Bmets to start playing. Even though I don't like the Mets I loooove the Bmets. The games are so much fun and the hot dogs are $1. Does it get better than that? Nah.

Ok, class now. 3 tomorrow, and none on Friday! But I am going on a hot date with Ashley Connor to the diner!

Live it, love it.

Playin the field like the real playas do

My team, the Playas Only, have captured the championship title for the co-rec season of 2005. And we were undefeated nonetheless.

Despite the massive amount of work that I have to do, today has been an amazing day. I had a great time - I love everyone on my team! Heather, Kara, Sung, Andy and Justin came to support us. (Heather, I knew I had to write that or you'd complain)

One of my residents who is transferring next semester put me in a garbage can and guess what...I loved it! Acting like a kid in the snow with friends is fun. I can't wait to do it again!

I'm going to have a smile on for the next few days because of this.

It's time to buckle down and do some work with the help of my Wegman's sub. 13 days left here...

Lava fills my heart

I'm going to miss this. 3B. 314. 314B.

I don't want to leave. But I do. I'm excited for next year! But I like living here with these cool people. Our floor picture last night made me a little sad.

In other news...Stats sucks.

My weekend was fun and not at the same time. Good baseball game. The play was eh. I saw what Kevin Lacerda is going to look like in 5 years.

Tours have been coming into our room like whoa. It's funny.

I hope I can see Andy Roddick play.

It's a good thing I have cool friends.

PS- Heather, I may have told Andy you were in love him. But I'm sure he realized I was kidding.

I met an Angel...

I participated in the Relay for Life on Friday night. It was so awesome. The luminary ceremony was nothing compared to the ceremony at the high school but it was still touching. We raised over $63,000! I think that's just so amazing.

I had an awesome time while I was there til 7am. Looking back on it I realize that I made an ass of myself. Especially with the ninjas. They had a talent-like show and some ninjas performed (I don't think they were real ninjas) and then later I asked if I could have my picture taken with them. It was pretty embarassing but somebody had to do it.

I slept all day yesterday which I didn't really like but that's what happens when you don't sleep for a night. Eh. I did some work last night and I have more to do today. Life back at Binghamton has been ok so far. I haven't been too busy but I'm sure that will start up again.

Oh, and good job to all of you Lip Sync-ers. I saw the video and was very impressed.

30 days left in Normandy

So, Spring Break was excellent! I loved every minute of it. I was able to spend some time "working" at the Mark of the Hall (I love that job, seriously) and I saw almost everyone that I wanted to see. I feel like maybe I should have had an epiphany of sorts, if you understand the vernacular. But I have none to report of.

It was a jolly good time and I wish that Spring Break never ended. But now I'm back at school doing work and going to meetings and class til forever.

Incredibles - Good movie
Ladder 49 - Good movie
Big Fish - Still a good movie after watching it 622 times

Heather brought The Ring with her to school so I will FINALLY be able to see it. Even though I don't care that much. But it should be fun, either way.

I need to clean and organize my room/closet. I'm a slob compared to Erica.

Deeeeear Friends,

So...Good news, everyone. I'm going to be an RA next year. SWEETNESS! And I'll be living in Hinman, the community that I'm currently in. I'm so happy that things worked out this way.

When I ate lunch this afternoon I saw my English prof from last semester, he is also the faculty master of my community. He saw me from across the dining hall and came over to me and hugged me. He's such a nice guy!

My roommate is the coolest and I'm sad that we can't be roommates again next year. I can pull 2 people into my suite but housing really sucks!!

My suitemate Jenn gave me potatoes last night. I'm gonna bake them and eat them and be soooo happy. Indian giver...funniest thing ever. Heather and Er, I know you agree.

Sal is so cool. And I hope that Adam can take me to Cornell soon. If anybody from Mahopac is going to the show, which you all should, let me know. I would love a ride there and back!

I'm pretty happy right now. Even though I have a huge test on Tuesday in Anthropology and I need to do my laundry and it's cold.

I love my boyfriend. May can't come soon enough.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Looooooove,
Meg

I've decided that I cannot wait to visit Spring Track practice. It's going to be so great!

Being back at college is....indescribable. I honestly don't know how to describe it. Meh.

Walking in snowstorms on the parkway is always a good way to start off your semester, so I'm glad that Heather and I did it.

My life is busy, but somewhat empty. My heart is in Europe (awwww). And a little piece of it is in Australia with Andy Roddick.

I have to do a Jumble. It's been a while. And I have homework to do.
How My Thanksgiving Was Ruined

Seeing as Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, I was very excited to go home for the break and eat my little heart out. However, my stomach had other plans....

What I believed was some bad Red Lobster from Wednesday night turned out to actually be a stomach virus which decided to present itself at 5am on Thursday morning. Sadly, my toilet bowl and I became close friends. I spent my favorite holiday throwing up and I even fainted once (which was pretty cool). I wasn't able to eat anything on the day of thanks. It sucked.

For the next couple of days I was weak because I hadn't eaten anything. And Eric and I didn't go to see OAR on Saturday night cause I'm a poop head.

Oh I love puppies!

School is blah. I'm glad that I was home when I got really sick. Now I'm just very very tired and very very busy. From now til Dec 17th I will be crazy.

Maybe Vic and I will be going to Boston on the 18th to see Adam in his natural habitat with Fo' rest. (?)

I'm looking forward to December 17th. A lot.

I'm so confused. At least I have my health...

It's dark out. Too bad.

Football has been good at times. 3 games this weekend. Jimmy, you should be proud of me because I scored a touchdown. And last week I was the QB! It must be in the McDermott-Gencarelli genes.

I've been busy doing things, working and hanging out with people. Only 2 1/2 weeks left til I come home but in that time I'm gonna be busy like whoa.

WHAM is such a great band.

Last night my friend Sara and I watched The Princess Diaries 2. How inspirational! Now we want to be princesses!! Sadly, we couldn't find any princes.

I can't really focus right now. There's too much going on in my head. At night when I go to bed, I can't get to sleep because I think too much. I seriously need a vacation. And my friends. It sucks not seeing everyone for so long. What the hell is that about?

Erica and I are getting along swimmingly. [finger point] I feel bad cause we get along so well and I know a bunch of people that have issues with their roommates. Meh.

Now, I must go to a meeting about being an RA next year. We'll see how that works out. I would save so much money!!!

Hope everyones doing well!!

And so ends a great weekend. Eric left this morning. I had a wonderful few days with him. But now I need to take a nap and do work.

My brother came up from Baltimore to see his friends for Alumni Weekend. It was nice to see him and he gave me $40 today. What a joke. I need a job. A lot.

Eric and I drove to Cortland yesterday evening to see Jim. Good times. Jim is a cool loser.

Our first co-rec football game was this morning. We lost and I almost died but it was good. I got a nice kick in the ankle with a cleat. Good times.

I'm gonna be busy like whoa this week.

"We should make out"

Thursday is the day. Eric will be here with me and I will be the happiest person on the planet. That is if I can get rid of this cold by then. Even if I'm still sick I will be so happy to be with him. I can't wait. However, in order to get to Thursday I have to survive a bunch of classes, English essay and 3 hard core meetings.

I was voted to be the SA (Student Association) Rep for my building. So basically I get to go to 3 hour meetings and followed by another 2 hour meeting and the next day I get to tell my building at our Hall Meeting what's happening on campus and such. It's crazy. Loads of public speaking. Definitely needed.

On Thursday I traveled to the Horace Mann Elementary School in Downtown Binghamton. As part of my English class I need to volunteer at a local school and teach kids how to read. I absolutely loved it. I was really freaked out the night before because I was nervous about the bus ride and such. I had a class to go to right after I got back. But while I was there I had a great time. I worked with a girl named Raelynn. She's so cute. She was shy at first but started to open up to me. Overall I really enjoyed it and hopefully I can go more than one hour a week like I'm supposed to. I'm so lucky to be able to work with such wonderful people and have such great life experiences before I even turn 20.

College is alright. Howie Day is coming to Binghamton on October 20th. I need to find somebody to go with me.

My Mom sent me another package. It had lots of goodies.

I was psuedo yelled at for helping my sick friend this morning. Meh.

I can't wait for Thanksgiving. Hope all is well with everybody.

I am back in Binghamton after a long weekend in Mahopac. The weekend was...boring, really. I was, however, able to hang out with the coolest kids that are still in Mahopac. That's right, Mado-lyn, Lizzle Bizzle and Kevin. We trekked to JV to see Garden State and it was quite the good time. Overall I enjoyed Garden State.

Anyway, life back up here is....boring but it's a different kind of boring. This weekend I will be banished from my room for a night or two but it's all good because I will have a bedroom all to myself.

In conclusion, everything is going well. But my Mario Kart skills have been a little less than perfect lately. I hope that everyone is enjoying themselves at their respective schools and remember, don't drink and drive.

Can I sleep on your top bunk?

Life here in Bing is wacky and wild. Not really but I've been doing alright. Switching my classes around which is always a good time. No more 8:30 for me. I've also been meeting some cool people. The guys across the hall are cool. I tossed the football around with them and they were impressed with my mad skillzz! That's right. Good times.

For my English class I need to do service learning credit and volunteer at a school in Binghamton. I will be volunteering with elementary school kids, teaching them how to read! I am so excited. We went to a meeting for it last night, watched a movie and listened to some guest speakers. And I got some free pizza. Not a bad deal. I like pizza that's not from the dining hall.

Ken Jennings is back on people. I know that we've all missed him but have no fear. He's back and dorkier than ever. I missed him last night and the night before but I saw about 5 minutes of it and managed to get every question wrong.

It's going to rain for about the first time since I've been here.

Eric is coming to visit me for Columbus Day. I can't wait. It's gonna be awesome!!

I've been running a lot lately. By myself just around my community. I enjoy it.

That's about all. I hope that everyone else is doing ok. Mail would be appreciated.

Go Roddick!!

Boondoggle

I am in Binghamton. It's ok so far. Not too much to complain about. Setting up my room was crazy. Way too much stuff between Erica and I. Most of my stuff is unpacked. Considering that I'm not at home and I'm not with my old friends, I'm glad that I'm here with these girls.

My suitemates are Juhee - from PA, Natasa (pronounced Natasha) - from Astoria, and Heather - from New Windsor. We all get along really well, as of right now. I'm so glad that Erica is here with me. It's just making it so much easier. Basically just hung out last night and talked. We saw a poet before we ate dinner. He was really cool and very funny. Good stuff. I forget his name though. Taylor....something with a 'C' last name. I need to help some people order their books today and maybe I can play some pool.

My RA is cool. I have a nice view. I miss everyone terribly. I don't want to start classes.

As soon as I get my address, I'll post it (Mike).

PS - Anybody know what boondoggle is?

Life has been going well. Doing a lot of stuff. But I have yet to burn my room down. But come on, everybody's doing it. Oh Adam!

Played poker - once.
Played pool - about 3,000,000 times

Haven't finished my book yet.

Getting ready for college is a pain in the butt.

Also, I lost my black and white film. I'm not too happy about that.

My cousin's leaving for Russia soon (for about 5 years).

I guess I'm a boring person.

ANDY RODDICK BEAT SERETTA!!
JULY 31ST!!!!

So.....my birthday is on Saturday, July 31st. The Big 1-8. I'm getting old. However, I am still a Toys R Us kid.

It's going to be so difficult getting through this week. I've got work, work and work. Shots, Seussical and Ruth's Chris. Not looking forward to the shots.

Helped with Vic's chair/bench/torture device last night. And I was right with my suggestion of how to put it in the van. Boys are dumb. Then I kicked ass in pool. Ok, maybe I didn't kick ass but I did alright.

For the record, I did call Brady on his birthday but nobody answered. Brady, you're a good kid. I hope you had a nice birthday, you crazy 17 year old.

Saw Bourne Supremacy. Eh. But I saw it with the two coolest kids in the world. The Heeb and Jim!! And I fell asleep during it. I didn't really miss that much.

I'm reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven and so far it's pretty good.

'Yeah, and then we can go the Red Lobster and watch The Little Mermaid.'
'Why? They don't serve mermaid there.'

Today was a great day. Didn't really do anything in school.
Went to my internship for 4 hours and stuffed envelopes.
Then went to a volunteer recognition dinner at Villa Barone.
I was called a "saint" by the woman I intern with.
Received violets which I'll probably kill in a week or two.
Came home and found out that I received a scholarship from the Mahopac Chamber of Commerce.
Very happy.
Track meet tomorrow.
And my internship.

Being in a room with so many amazing people tonight was awesome. I hope that I am a good person when I grow up. If I'm not, please slap me.

Heaven in a bottle

Today was busy. Spanish AP. Yeah, that was fun.

Track meet at JJEF was actually really fun. Threw my personal best in discus, I think. And who was there to see it? Coho, some girls and a mother. Woopdifriggindoo.

No practice tomorrow. Sweetness. Much like the song.

It's a good thing we've got Eric driving around because there was just an article in the paper about how the deer population is getting out of control. [end sarcasm]

I just realized that after the Bio AP I'm not really done because Tuesday and Wednesday I'm supposed to have meets at Arlington and go to a volunteer dinner. When will the craziness end?

Can WISE be over....now? Ready......NOW!

TGIF

It has been a very long week. But then again, every week lately has been extremely long.

Operation Silent Treatment has begun. I'm really mad at Mr Lewis. I told him that I hate him today. If he doesn't have my friggin letter for me on Monday, I really won't be talking to him at all. But I need to write my scholarship essay. And Er, it's a good thing you didn't ask Marion for the recommendation. I'll show it to you if you want. It's really not that great. But she brought in cupcakes/muffins today and they are amazing!!

I won $10 to the Sweet Factory and 1 free movie ticket. I am so excited. Free stuff is good. I have a list of things that I need to buy. If I had more money it would be great. But ya know, living costs money.

A couple of things happened today that made me feel bad. I have morals, that was proven. I need another vacation. A real one though. Not in Mahopac, not working 36 hours a week, not doing laundry or cleaning, not worrying or deciding, not waiting or hoping, and not driving my sister around.

And I wish that something that I did made a difference.
At least I decided on a prom dress. Now if I actually cared about going that would be great.

Anal bum covers for $200

Today was an entertaining day. 1st period, chilled with teachers while eating all the grapes that I could. They were so good! Bio was hysterically awesome today. No work whatsoever. We talked about how we were gonna make Mr. Pease go crazy and we watched as many SNL skits as we could. Mainly Jeopardy ones. Good stuff.

I am so tired of everything. Shelby and I discussed things in gym today. I need this week off. Only 3 days of track, no internship, no crew and no school. Work up the wazoo but I can handle that. And the $200 paycheck that I'll be getting will be a nice gift.

I, like Erica, was nominated for a Chamber of Commerce scholarship by Dorinda from the Women's Center. I have to write an essay about how I would change Mahopac for the better when I returned from college. I have an idea but I must discuss it with a few people first. Lew-dog is writing a recommendation for me. He is one of the coolest teachers ever. I need to find my gazelle story from 9th grade.

I need a nap. And a hug. And maybe some juice. Wow, am I 5 years old or what? I'll put the juice in my sippy cup. The one with the leakguard so when I do take a nap it won't spill.

And what's even funnier is that I just thought about watching Mary Poppins. I really am a 5 year old.

One whole week off from school! I am really ecstatic in that very tired way. On the inside I'm bursting with joy but it doesn't show because I am so tired.

"For all of you that don't habla espanol, el nino means the.....nino!!"

I need a frisbee. Hopefully I can find my brothers old one because I would love love love to get a game going after practice Monday morning. If not then we'll do it another day. Oh how I love the smell of the track on a warm day.

Shut up, it's one word with a hyphen

Yesterday I took part in the best Calculus class in the history of mankind. That is right. It was the most awesome period ever. I'm guessing that some laughing gas might have leaked into our classroom. It was awesome. Oh what fun. Not the calc part, the talking and joking part.

Anyway, the Gala for the Women's Center was on Wednesday night and it was so much fun. I had a great time. I had a nametag (that I made for myself as well as everyone else) and flowers and so much food. I saw some familiar faces and met some very nice people, including the man that offered me beer, and the chocolate ladies. Prior to the Gala was the Blue & Gold meet. I ended up in the boys locker room with Brian, Brady and Liz and doing nothing. That is the life of a thrower. Yeah, I hate my coach.

And now there is drama in Track. I think things have been taken to the extreme and now it's just catty. I understand where they're coming from but they seem to have lost all of their values. Dumb girls. I'll stick to being throwing captain with Brian.

Today is so beautiful. I want to frolic! Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful too but I'm working all day.

I miss my boyfriend.

I need to go shower. Bye, all.

10:45pm

Things were very weird at practice today. I feel older after the discussion I had. And somewhat respected and cared about. Not in any creepy way but, I dunno. It made me happy. I do not on the other hand enjoy hearing girls bitch and moan at me constantly. Yeah, that's right. I wish that there were more hours in a day.
